Mayra Griffiths

Administrative Assistant

Mayra (Myra) is a Client Services Associate and Financial Workshop Coordinator who is very
passionate about her work in all areas of her life. Premier service is always her goal as she has spent most of her career providing excellent service and support...it is a role she loves. She believes that a happy customer makes a happy company!

Being a graduate of the “Final Four”, George Mason University as she so fondly refers to her Alma Mater, is one of her life's most profound achievements. Myra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. A most fond memories at George Mason is the 2006 college basketball team making it to the Final Four.

If Myra is not servicing clients, she is dedicated to community service in Washington DC and the DMV region. She has volunteered countless hours helping those in need. She is the recipient of two community service awards in which she dedicated to her late father, the person she saw always helping those in need her entire life. Her parents moved to New York City, which is where she was born. Myra is the youngest of three children born to parents that migrated from Panama for a better life.  As she fondly remembers her younger years, Myra says "My childhood was rich with food of Latin and West Indian roots, the Latin music and dance, still resonate in my mind. I would not trade my childhood for any amount of money".

Myra has a love for Ballet and regularly attends ballet class....she loves to dance. Her passion for dance started as a kid when she first took ballet at the Dance Theater of Harlem in New York City...the rest is history. She has seen just about every professional ballet company perform and has had the pleasure of seeing Mikhail Baryshnikov perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. In addition to servicing and coordinating, one of her favorite past times is to facilitate and instruct courses. Myra has been told many times by her peers and friends alike that she should be a teacher. One of Myra's dreams is to drive on the Pacific Coast Highway in California during a sunny, eighty-degree day in a convertible car all while smelling the ocean air!
